Tristan's Logo Designs

Hi guys,

I saw your call for a new PCF logo on my regular visit to your site today and thought it was a great opportunity to have a go and get involved with the local cycle community outside of riding.

I’ve attached 3 logo ideas and banners. The focus being on creating not just a visual logo, but a logo that also incorporates the Pompey Bug title whilst having an easily recognisable icon alongside it. The bike cog.

Each logo has been designed to work in it’s simplest colour form, black. This means it will transfer across many colours and work in many different ways. I’ve attached a few photo examples of how they can be used in different ways.

They also work well when scaled down to a small size. This gives the logos a lot more scope outside of just being a website header. Business cards, stickers, letters etc

Really enjoyed doing them and I’ll have a blast at a few more over the next few days. I’ve also attached copies of the logos by themselves.

P.S All the photos used in the headers are mine and therefore available to use royalty free alongside any any of the logos.

All the best.

Tristan

Quote from the The Times campaign for shared space and safer cycling: As a point of comparison: since 2001, 576 British soldiers have been killed in Afghanistan and Iraq; 1,275 cyclists died on British streets. The latest data shows there were 1,850 deaths or serious injuries in the first half of 2011, a 12 per cent rise on the year before. Britain leads the world in competitive cycling; it is time that we did the same for the cyclists on our streets. Drivers and cyclists need to realise that co-existing safely benefits everyone, in terms of public health, traffic, pollution, and congestion on our roads, trains and buses.
